Our story
StartNet started with a simple observation: Tamil Nadu had the talent, the government support, and the ambition to build a world-class AI startup ecosystem — what it didn't have was the connective infrastructure to make all three compound. So we built it, one property at a time: training and research through AI Flywheel, a flagship accelerator through Nooru.AI, two annual gatherings through Agentic AI Connect and Physical AI Connect, and a year-round home for founders through SNX.
How we work with Think TN and AITN
StartNet operates as an independent commercial company, working alongside Think TN and AITN's broader mission for an AI-driven Tamil Nadu. We contribute evidence and pipeline; we don't share their governance structure or their nonprofit obligations — a deliberate separation that keeps both organizations moving at the right speed for what they each do.
What we believe
- Ecosystems compound when the pieces are connected — not when they're forced into one product.
- Every claim we make should be traceable to a number we can show our work on.
- A founder in any district of Tamil Nadu should have access to the same training, capital pathways, and peer density as a founder anywhere else in the world.
